License transfer

Existing IISpeed customers transfer to mod_pagespeed 2.1 at no cost. Email info@we-amp.com with your current license key and we confirm the transfer — handled manually, usually within a business day or two. The line is open source now, so no key is needed to keep running.

Customer portal

Existing IISpeed customers can check their license status and details at the customer portal.

Getting the software

mod_pagespeed is open source under Apache-2.0 — there is nothing to buy to run it. Downloads and support plans are at modpagespeed.com.

IIS-specific limitations

Most PageSpeed filters work identically on IIS. The following are known exceptions:

• convert_meta_tags — not available on IIS due to differences in how Apache and IIS handle HTTP headers.
